File Library & AI File Match

TunerSuite Feature · File Library & AI File Match

Ten years of finished work, recognising files on day one.

Bring the archive you already have, whole folders of originals and tunes, or an ECM Titanium archive, into your portal's own library. From then on AI File Match recognises a file you have already solved and hands back your own work, with strict gates and an undo.

Drop a whole folder tree on the batch upload: each folder is matched to the right vehicle in your catalogue.
An ECM Titanium archive is read in place, read-only, with every original paired with its tunes.
A repeat file is matched by its exact bytes or by its software and hardware numbers, and your own work goes back.

Bring your archive

Whole folders, matched to the right vehicle

Drop a whole folder tree, for example make, model, generation and engine, into the library's batch upload, and each folder is matched to the right vehicle in your catalogue automatically. There is no typing the make and model for every group. When one vehicle's files are split across sub-folders, such as a folder of reads and a folder of tunes, they are grouped as one vehicle rather than two half-entries.

You choose how folders map to vehicles, automatically, or by assigning each folder level yourself, and how sure a match must be before it is filled in for you, and you can save the layout as a preset for next time. One original can hold as many tuned versions as you produce from it, each tagged with the exact work it does.

  • Folder trees matched to vehicles automatically
  • Your folder layout saved as a reusable preset
  • Reads and tunes in separate sub-folders kept together as one vehicle
  • Several tuned versions under one original, each tagged with its exact work

A desktop archive, done properly

An ECM Titanium archive, read in place

An ECM Titanium archive is imported with us, in three steps: scan and report, extract and sort, hand it over. The archive is opened read-only, nothing in it is moved, renamed or changed. Each original is paired with the tunes saved against it and filed by make and model, and every distinct modification name your archive uses is mapped once onto your portal's service list before anything lands.

The scan tells you up front what will not read and why, so there are no surprises halfway through. An import is a project rather than a button, and it is quoted on the size of the archive.

  • Read-only: the archive on your PC is never changed
  • Originals paired with their tunes, which is what matching needs
  • Your modification names mapped once, not guessed per file
  • Duplicates stored once; unreadable projects set aside with their reason

AI File Match

A file you have already solved goes back in seconds

Every upload is fingerprinted and its software and hardware numbers are read. The match panel looks for the same work in your library in three tiers: the exact same bytes; the same software and hardware numbers, which is the same factory ECU read by a different tool; and the same software on different hardware, shown for you to check.

Only an exact match, the same original and exactly the modifications the customer ordered, can be delivered automatically. A Stage 1 file never goes to a Stage 2 request, a part-finished tune is never sent, and close-but-not-exact matches are offered to your team instead of sent.

  • Three match tiers, each with its confidence and its reason shown
  • Several tuned versions under one original, each tagged with its exact work
  • Off, confirm, simulate or live, your choice of how far it goes
  • An emergency pause, and a 24-hour undo on every automatic delivery

The library keeps growing

Every revision your team uploads files itself

Each tuned file your team delivers is added to the library under the work it does, so the next time the same file arrives it is recognised rather than tuned again. A checkbox beside the upload keeps a tune that was cut around one particular car out of the library. Each entry has a test-match simulator, a byte comparison between versions, a way to replace a wrongly uploaded original without losing its versions, and a history of what changed. A check you can run grades the library against what the tools themselves recorded.

File Library FAQ

Common questions

Can I import a folder of old files?
Yes. Drop a whole folder tree on the batch upload and each folder is matched to the right vehicle in your catalogue. You decide how folders map to vehicles, and can save the layout as a preset.
Can you import an ECM Titanium archive?
Yes, with us. The archive is read in place and read-only, originals are paired with their tunes, your modification names are mapped once, and the import is quoted on the size of the archive.
Will AI File Match send a customer the wrong stage?
No. Only an exact match on the original and exactly the modifications ordered can go out automatically. Anything close but not exact is offered to your team to check instead.
What if an automatic delivery was a mistake?
Every automatic delivery has a 24-hour undo that reopens the request, refunds the credits and tells the customer the file is being re-checked. An emergency pause stops automatic delivery with one click.
Do my files leave my portal?
An import lands in your portal's own library, on your server. The desktop archive itself is only ever read, never changed.
