Launch control is a performance feature that allows the driver to achieve the fastest possible standing start. It works by holding the engine at a predetermined RPM while the vehicle is stationary, building boost pressure (on turbocharged engines), and then releasing all that stored energy when the clutch is dropped.

Common questions
How do I activate launch control?
The typical activation procedure is: depress the clutch, apply full throttle (the engine will hold at the configured RPM), then release the clutch to launch. For DSG vehicles, it is brake + throttle, then release brake.
Will it damage my clutch?
Launch control puts significant stress on the clutch and drivetrain. Frequent use will accelerate clutch wear. For regular track use, an uprated clutch is recommended.
Can I choose the launch RPM?
Yes. We configure the launch RPM to your preference. The optimal RPM depends on your engine, turbo, and traction — we can advise on the best setting for your setup.
Does it work on naturally aspirated engines?
Yes, though the benefit is less dramatic than on turbocharged engines where launch control allows you to build boost before launching.
