This is a Stage 1 tune of the factory calibration of the VW T4 2.5 TDI (75 kW, 102 hp), for its Bosch EDC15 ECU with hardware 0281010080, part number 074906018M and software 352549 (1037352549). Stage 1 is software only: the car keeps its standard turbo, injectors, intercooler and exhaust.
Stage 1 on this engine raises the injected fuel, the boost and the rail pressure and lifts the torque limiters, within what the standard turbo, injectors and clutch hold. The smoke limiter follows the new airflow, so a healthy engine pulls harder without black smoke.
