About this file
What this Stage 1 file is
This is a Stage 1 tune of the factory calibration of the 2008 MB C 180K (105 kW, 143 hp), for its Siemens ECU with ECU number M300042010000. Stage 1 is software only: the car keeps its standard turbo, injectors, intercooler and exhaust.
Stage 1 on this engine raises the boost, sets the ignition and the fuelling to match and lifts the torque limits, within what the standard turbo and fuel pump hold. It wants the fuel octane the car was made for, or better.
The file is listed for the 105 kW, 143 hp version of the MB C 180K. Check the power on your car's papers: the same model was sold with several engines, each with its own file.
For this calibration of the MB C 180K we sell the original, Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3. Stage 1 comes in two versions, tuned from different reads of this software. Every file downloads straight after payment.
Read the Siemens ECU with your usual tool and keep the read: compare its hardware and software numbers with the ones on this page before you write the file.
Catalyst off, DTC off and speed limiter (Vmax) off can be added to this file on request, for off-road and competition use: send us your read through our file service and our engineers add them (any file £50, from £30 in packs).
ECU number M300042010000 is how this Siemens ECU identifies itself.
Questions
Which ECU does this MB C 180K Stage 1 file fit?
A Siemens ECU with ECU number M300042010000. Check those numbers in your read before you write it; another software number needs another file, which our engineers can build from your read.
How is the Siemens ECU read and written?
With your usual reading tool, over OBD or on the bench as the tool allows. Write the file back the same way you read the ECU, and keep your original read.
Can you add catalyst off to the Siemens ECU file?
Yes, on request, for off-road and competition use: catalyst off, DTC off and speed limiter (Vmax) off. Upload a read through our file service and an engineer builds it (any file £50, from £30 in packs). The buyer is responsible for using it where the law allows.
What exactly is in the download?
A BIN file of 320 KB, ready to write. Write it with the same tool and the same connection you read the ECU with.
How do I get the file after paying?
It is in your account as an instant download straight after payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay: the BIN file, ready to write.
What if the file does not fit my car?
Send us your read and we correct it free, as many times as it takes. Questions before you buy are answered by a tuner on WhatsApp.
