Master & Slave Tuner Roles
TunerSuite Feature · Team Workflow
Master & slave tuner roles. Five routing strategies.
Scale your tuning team without chaos. Route requests by skill, load, or a strategy of your choice. Track who handled what, with statistics per technician.
Master / slave permissions
The role layer is opinionated and small. Master tuners can assign, override, refund and see the full team picture. Slave tuners see only their queue, no fiddly per-permission grid to spend a weekend tuning. Customers never see this layer; they just submit requests.
- Master role, assign, override, refund, view all
- Slave role, work the assigned queue
- Admin role, billing + system settings on top of master
- Customer role, submit, pay, download (no team visibility)
Five ways to send a request to a tuner
Every incoming file request runs through your chosen strategy. Switch strategies per service or per ECU family, Stage 1 Bosch goes to your Bosch specialist, Stage 2 generic goes to whoever’s least busy.
Auto-Assign
First match wins, by skill tag.
Round-Robin
Even spread across the team.
Load-Balanced
Goes to whoever’s least busy now.
Manual
Master picks per request.
Priority-Based
Tier-1 customers go to senior tuners.

Money and credit, without an administrator in the loop
Two things a busy shop kept asking for: let the engineer who took a job settle it, and give a dealer a document instead of a memory when the wholesale conversation comes round.
- Technicians can return credits, a switch in Settings, off by default. Pricing, assignment and everything else about money stay with administrators either way.
- Dealer statements, a per-dealer account of what was charged and when.
- Commissions, specialisations, working hours and timezones, per member of staff.
- A new support ticket reaches every operator, not only administrators.
Your catalogue, on every dealer’s portal
A dealer working from a different list of engines is a dealer quoting different prices. The catalogue you maintain is the catalogue they all see.
- The vehicle catalogue syncs from your portal to every dealer
- Every module switchable per dealer, applied instantly
- A conversation from a dealer’s customer reaches you, labelled with whose customer it is
- Maintenance on the vehicle database waits for the quiet hours rather than interrupting a trading shop
