This is a Stage 1 tune of the factory calibration of the 2007 VW Crafter 2.5 TDI (80 kW, 109 hp), for its Bosch EDC16 ECU with part number 074906032D and software 381011 (1037381011). Stage 1 is software only: the car keeps its standard turbo, injectors, intercooler and exhaust.

Stage 1 on this engine raises the injected fuel, the boost and the rail pressure and lifts the torque limiters, within what the standard turbo, injectors and clutch hold. The smoke limiter follows the new airflow, so a healthy engine pulls harder without black smoke.
