This is a Stage 1 tune of the factory calibration of the Kia Carnival 2.9 CRDi (106 kW, 144 hp), for its Bosch ECU with software ID C7F34FA1. Stage 1 is software only: the car keeps its standard turbo, injectors, intercooler and exhaust.
Stage 1 on this engine raises the injected fuel, the boost and the rail pressure and lifts the torque limiters, within what the standard turbo, injectors and clutch hold. The smoke limiter follows the new airflow, so a healthy engine pulls harder without black smoke.
