This is a Stage 1 tune of the factory calibration of the 2012 Opel Insignia 2.0 CDTi (96 kW, 131 hp), for its Bosch EDC17C19 ECU with hardware 0281018081 and software 520485 (1037520485). Stage 1 is software only: the car keeps its standard turbo, injectors, intercooler and exhaust.
Stage 1 on the 2.0 CDTI raises the injected fuel, the boost and the rail pressure and lifts the torque limiters, within what the standard turbo, injectors and clutch hold. The smoke limiter follows the new airflow, so a healthy engine pulls harder without black smoke.
