This is a Stage 1 tune of the factory calibration of the 2008 VW Passat 2.0 TDI ppd (125 kW, 170 hp), for its Siemens/Continental ECU with part number 03G906018EM and software SN100L6000000. Stage 1 is software only: the car keeps its standard turbo, injectors, intercooler and exhaust.
Stage 1 on this engine raises the injected fuel, the boost and the rail pressure and lifts the torque limiters, within what the standard turbo, injectors and clutch hold. The smoke limiter follows the new airflow, so a healthy engine pulls harder without black smoke.
